We’ve had the pleasure of working on some phenomenal local events and making great relationships with some of Chicago’s top vendors.
Here are a couple of our favourite wedding spots:
The Drake Hotel is one of the hotels and resorts throughout the country that is recognized by Historic Hotels of America for preserving and maintaining its historic integrity, architecture, and ambiance. Throughout the roaring twenties The Drake became high-society’s first choice in opulence
Chez, the exclusive downtown Chicago wedding venue. Just two blocks from Michigan Avenue and a close to the Lakefront, the Loop, River North and the Gold Coast.
One of our most fond, and earliest, Chicago memories is planning a family wedding at beautiful The Armour House at Lake Forest Academy.
We were still based in Toronto at the time, so had made a couple trips to Chicago to tour venues and meet with vendors.
Then, we went on to plan the entire wedding from scratch (while very pregnant) over 525 miles away.
The entire experience was perfect and it was such a sweet way to be introduced to Chicago. We got to enjoy the ceremony just in time — while 8 months pregnant!
Chicago stole our hearth form the beginning, the destruction caused by the Great Chicago Fire led to the largest building boom in the history of the nation and made great spots for wedding photos! The Chicago Board of Trade Building is one of the most popular location along with Buckingham Fountain and The Wrigley Building.
Now, we call Chicago home and we are so proud to work with local and out pf state couples to celebrate love in all shapes and sizes.
