With a short timeline to plan our wedding reception after a destination elopement, we looked to her for an ala carte, "the day of planning" services. She went over and beyond from helping with vendor selections, web site creation, invitations tracking and all the other little details we didn't think of that are easily overlooked.

Her beautiful, creative design sense also helped us put together a perfect vibe for the venue for our memorable, special day. We feel very blessed to have found her to help us navigate through the planning stage leading up to our big day.

She was spot on when she told us in the beginning “ All you have to do is show up and have fun! “ That’s exactly what happened, we didn’t have to worry about a thing. Thank you, Barbara, at Bweddings and her hard-working team who truly cares!

My husband and I realized that we needed day of support for our wedding and found Barbara -we are so happy that we did for a multitude of reasons! Barbara started providing "Day of" support very far in advance, coordinating a venue visit, collecting information from our vendors, and providing us with a template for day of activities that we didn't even realize we had to do! We were so lucky to have her because our venue contact ended up quitting less than one month before our wedding day, and many details to our ceremony and reception were lost when they left. We were devastated and extremely nervous that our wedding wouldn't go well. Fortunately, Barbara had taken such detailed notes that we were able to inform our new venue contact about all of the finer details (seating arrangements, ceremony set set up, etc.) that had gone "missing" and ended up having the most AMAZING wedding day! We can't thank Barbara enough for her support and highly recommend her affordable services.

Barbara was communicative in the weeks leading up to the wedding to understand exactly what our vision was, provided helpful suggestions for tweaking things, and then on the day of took care of the operations so we could focus elsewhere. She went above and beyond to accommodate all of our asks, even some that I imagine aren't standard but whose little details made our wedding uniquely ours. We particularly appreciated that due to some special circumstances (including us living in a different state than where Barbara and the wedding were) there were some things we couldn't plan for and would have to make calls on the day of. Barbara made decisions about the details on the day of, incorporating our vision without needing to ask us for guidance (we were busy with lots of other things!) and it's this sort of initiative that sets Bweddings apart from the rest.

Barbara did a phenomenal job planning our wedding and was extremely valuable to me on the day.

I don't know what I would have done without her. First and foremost, Barbara found us our perfect wedding venue Armour House in Lake Forest, IL. She did extensive research and found us the perfect place that suited both of our British backgrounds; it was the perfect stately home setting with picturesque gardens. Barbara came with us to view the venue and helped negotiate a great price that was well within our budget. Leading up the wedding, Barbara helped me pick out my color theme, florist, invitations and was extremely helpful in putting our wedding website together. On the wedding day itself, Barbara was amazing. She was on top of everything and made sure the day went to plan. In addition to her main duties, Barbara helped with the table planning, reception room decor, photos (taking quite a few good photos earlier in the day as our photographer was late) and many many other elements. Barbara was a life saver on many occasions even performing a quick fix to my dress before the 1st dance (thanks Barbara!).

Overall we were extremely satisfied with the planning service and professionalism that Barbara provided and would not hesitate to recommend her to any couple getting married.
