Once upon a time, three girls, who happened to be in the hair and makeup industry, randomly met (we now call it fate) in a three-flat building.
Soon, they began assisting one another with weddings and quickly discovered their passion and approach to servicing weddings was the same.
A partnership was born and their phrase of “only doing pretty” evolved into an official name and a team built on the highest standards.
What Is We Only Do Pretty?
We Only Do Pretty, is a on-location hair and makeup team based in Chicago, but available anywhere in the world (Caribbean weddings are never turned down!)
Our single focus is delivery: beautiful results, service, client satisfaction, friendliness, problem solving, efficacy and impeccable timing.
A wedding is one of the most important days of a person’s life, a day they want to look their very best because pictures last forever and so do memories.
Making someone and their party feel beautiful is not enough, we want to deliver first-class service and experiences so our team is not only comprised of some of the best talent in the wedding industry, it’s also made of up artists who are friendly, approachable, can handle any situation, listen, execute, and keep everyone at ease.
What We Do
From one bride to a vast wedding party, we have a team of talent that can accommodate any amount of services.
Even more uniquely, our artists come from different backgrounds and experiences: photography, theater, TV/Film, runway, mixed media arts, special effects and a variety of other crafts so your look will not be cookie-cutter, it will be just as you imagined.
